Hunnington Triple Distilled Single Malt Whisky - Cask HD025 (Bourbon Cask)

Cask HD025 is our first triple distilled whisky aged in a bourbon cask. We matured it for a little over two years in a 20 litre cask and bottled 48 bottles at 45.8%abv.

Nose
Aromas of sweet chocolate box notes and beautiful, delicate floral notes. A light vanilla woody back note creates an intriguing experience on the nose.

Taste
Sweet, creamy and luscious mouthfeel greets the palate rounding the entire tongue with a big candy and jelly coating, reminiscent of popping a fruit pastille in the mouth. The spirit definitely backs up the promise of the nose. It is clean and elegant retaining a pleasing depth of character. The whisky has a long finish spreading to all corners of the mouth, both tingling and exciting the palate. A well balanced and full bodied whisky.
