Hunnington Triple Distilled Single Malt Whisky - Cask HD009 (Apera (sherry) cask) 200ml

Cask HD009 is a 100litre cask that has matured over the last 6 years. It is an Australian Apera (Sherry) cask and it produced 201 500ml bottles and 108 200ml bottles at an abv of 47.3%.

Nose
An amazing nose heavenly rich, complex with hints of a soft forest floor with overtones of beautiful spices and floral notes.

Taste
Silky and deliciously rounded up front with a superb level of sweet and creamy spirit wrapping around the tongue then building gently on the palate where the whisky opens up with malty rich milk chocolate delight. A beautifully crafted luscious whisky filling the mouth with excitement. The whisky slips long and warm into a finish which lingers with satisfaction. Like all of Hunnington Whisky the sense of alcohol is perfectly balanced apart from the fact that one sip is never enough. An elegant whisky that gives from nose to finish.
