Cask HD033 is the latest release of our triple distilled single malt. It was aged a little over two years in a twenty seven litre Australian Sherry (Apera) Cask.
There are only 52 500ml bottles. Its alcohol strength is 46.8%.
Nose
A subtle nose, clean, complex and tantalisingly a mix of toffee and fruit with gentle notes of spirit lifting from the glass.
Taste
A spirity whisky quickly exploding across the palate then just as quickly settling gently in the mouth allowing those sherry cask toffee notes to shine. There is a more delightful note of high end spice gently falling over the palate providing another great Hunnington whisky. Left a while in the glass the whisky presents as creamy and malty with an exciting finish which one looks for in a good single malt.
