Hunnington Triple Distilled Single Malt Whisky - Cask HD007

Our latest release of our triple distilled single malt whisky is very special to us. It is from the barrel that we gave to our son and daughter-in-law as a wedding gift when they were married in Hamburg, Germany in 2019.

They have decided to use the proceeds from the sale of their whisky to help them pay the $7000 they need for an application for an Australian Partnership Visa so they have the option to be in Australia or Germany.

There are only 42 bottles of this very special whisky. For those that are lucky enough to get a bottle we hope that our love of whisky will bring and keep those that you love together just as it will, hopefully, bring those that we love closer to us.

Nose
Delicate woody notes complimented with subtle fruity and floral tones. Soft and gentle on the nose.

Taste
A soft smooth subtle toffee whisky upfront before building to a spicy mouthfeel and well balanced malt and delicate Turkish delight showing rosewater and floral tones. Gently leading to a satisfying and lingering finish.

This cask was aged a little over two years in a twenty litre Australian sherry barrel. There are only 42 500ml bottles. Its alcohol strength is 45.7%.
