Hunnington Triple Distilled Single Malt Whisky - Cask HD005

This is our newest triple distilled single malt. It was aged a little over two years in a twenty litre Australian sherry barrel. There are only 38 500ml bottles. Its alcohol strength is 45.4%.  

Bill Lark very kindly wrote us some tasting notes, this is what he said:

Nose

Beautiful buttery toffee notes over chewy malt.

Taste 

Big, rich Columbine Caramel opening up immediately to produce a full rounded mouthfeel. Sweet, oily luscious coating the tongue before gently flowing into a generous, warm finish. Expressed at a perfectly balanced level of alcohol.

That’s a bloody good whisky.
